What's up with those cushion-rails upside boards? Well, I am not sure if this is the right name, so here is what I mean: Those boards serve as hand rest on the top of the Pool Billiard Table.

Note: The circular cut-outs are going to be ignored in first instance. After mounting the cushion-rail the outlines of the parts which have to be sawed out are going to be marked with an pencil or scriber bottom-up through the holes of the play-field right on to the cushion-rail boards. Afterwards they'll be demounted to saw out the outlines.
Hint: At your local do-it-yourself store you may find some decorative coated wooden boards with rounded edges. Those nice looking boards are often inteded for shelfes and kitchens, but feel free to use them for your Pool Billiard Table.
Mounting:
The cushion-rails upside board lies down on the border-rail and supports the cushion-rail.
Fix the border-rail with strong screw clamps and release the bolting.
Apply some dots of wood glue to the play-field and screw the border-rails on it.
This way you can position the cushion-rail upside board on top of the unscrewed border-rail
without having the problem that the border-rails shift and slip away. Wait until the gluing-dots are cured.
Then dissolve the bolting again. Now fix the cushion-rail upside board with strong screw clamps on the border-rail. Take
care that the cushion-rail upside board is pressed to the back of the cushion-rail.
Drill with an 10 mm caliber wood drill carefully through the previously drilled mounting holes for the border-rails right through the cushion-rails upside board.
Afterwards the cushion-rails upside board is going to be screwed together with the border-rail using the same 80 mm caliber counter sunk machine screws. You may cover the screw-heads with decorative covering caps and use them as "diamond marks" for calculating the strategic cushion-rail game.
